2025 Was Another Impactful Year

Fiscal year 2025 was another productive year, working in partnership with so many critical East Side stakeholders. We are excited to release our 2025 Impact Report and 2025 990PF.

Rooted Philanthropic is excited to release our 2025 Impact Report and 2025 990PF.

Fiscal year 2025 was another productive year, working in partnership with so many critical East Side stakeholders. Our 2025 Impact Report provides updates and details on a number of key efforts, and also provides a list of all our grants, program related investments and direct program expenditures made last year. In total, we invested $3,220,295 on the East Side.  These investments included:

  • Successfully launching the East Side Farmers Market.
  • A package of $810,000 in loans and technical assistance to support East Side businesses impacted by disruption due to road construction, government cutbacks and increased immigration enforcement activities.
  • Expanding leadership opportunities beyond the Future Leaders Scholarship program by launching the Rooted Philanthropic Leadership Institute at Hill-Murray School.
  • Building capacity at Trilingua Cinema.
  • Supporting the Commercial Real Estate work of Latino Economic Development Center.
  • Launching a second Small Business Cohort for 5 East Side businesses, and a second East Side Women Leaders Cohort with 12 women.
  • And an increased number of general operating grants to East Side nonprofits working hard on behalf of the community.
